Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Unpleasant Smell

Last month, I took advantage of a sale and purchased Seventh Generation laundry detergent, a brand I hadn't tried before. The price was significantly lower than other well-known brands, so I decided to give it a shot. After a month of use, I've concluded that it's not a very high-quality detergent. Even my husband noticed the difference and asked if I had switched brands. While it's decent at removing stains, the smell is quite unpleasant. Unlike other detergents, it doesn't leave a fresh scent on clothes. Additionally, when I wash colored clothes at lower temperatures, the detergent sometimes clumps up and doesn't dissolve completely. I'm going back to my old detergent. Seventh Generation simply didn't live up to my expectations.
