Sensodyne Toothpaste Caused Gum Swelling and Painful Sensitivity


I’ve been a loyal Sensodyne toothpaste user for years and have always trusted the brand for both effectiveness and quality. Recently, I purchased six 75ML tubes from Watsons, expecting the same experience as always. But to my disappointment, this batch felt completely off.
Although the product didn’t seem spoiled or expired, the texture was strange and unpleasant—far more watery and inconsistent than what I’m used to. It didn’t feel like the same premium toothpaste I’ve used for so long. I can’t help but question whether the quality control for this batch was overlooked.
Sensodyne, I need clarity. Was this a one-off manufacturing issue? Or has the formula changed? I expect an explanation and would appreciate a quality review of this series. Loyal customers shouldn’t be left second-guessing a product they’ve trusted for years.
