Samsung 50TU8000 TV Panel Problem

I am using a Samsung 50TU8000 TV in Turkey, which I purchased from Trendyol. As of yesterday, the TV developed a panel problem and the screen went black. I had experienced the same problem with this TV once before, around two years ago, and now it has occurred again. Having the same panel issue repeat on the same device makes me seriously question the product’s quality and reliability, even though I have always trusted the Samsung brand. Despite this situation, I still trust Samsung and expect the brand to stand behind its product and support me in resolving this issue. I have not yet contacted Samsung or Trendyol customer service, because my clear expectation is that this problem should be solved without any payment from my side, including free repair or, if necessary, panel or product replacement. Since this is the second time I am facing the same issue, I do not find it fair to be charged again. I request that my TV be repaired or replaced free of charge and that a permanent solution be provided so that I do not experience this problem once more.

In the Samsung 50tu8000 model TV I've been using for about 6 years, I experienced another LED panel failure in the last week of February 2026 and the screen went completely dark. I had the same problem about 2 years ago, and the LED panel was replaced through an authorized service; the cost was covered by the company because it was deemed a product defect.
The recurrence of the same panel failure at such short intervals gives the impression that these panels have a two‑year lifespan, and I am seriously dissatisfied with this. Even though I use the TV only at home under normal conditions, experiencing the same critical failure twice within 6 years suggests a chronic issue with the product's panel.
After the recent failure I spoke with the authorized service again and was quoted a very high fee of about 27,000 TL for an LED panel replacement. Considering that the same defect was previously judged to be product‑related and no charge was applied, I do not accept being asked to pay such a high amount for this recurring chronic fault. I do not want to pay for a part that I consider defective.
Because I trust the Samsung brand, I choose Samsung for many products in my home, and this is the only television where I have such a problem. Therefore, I expect both a permanent resolution of the current defect and the appropriate attention and care from the company in return for my long‑standing brand loyalty.
I request Samsung to replace the LED panel of my TV again free of charge and to provide a permanent, satisfactory solution so that this problem does not occur again. I do not want to face a panel problem every two years due to the same fault, and I want my grievance to be resolved promptly.
