SAMSUNG TV (UE50TU8000UXTK) Chronic Panel Failure
In June 2021, we bought a Samsung television from Media Markt, and it developed a panel failure in less than three years. Since it was outside the 2-year warranty period, we had to pay ₺600 for the Samsung service to diagnose the issue. The problem, which is a chronic panel failure similar to what many others have experienced, was identified by the service team, and the repair cost was estimated at ₺14,180. Such a widespread, chronic issue should be considered a manufacturing defect and warrant a recall or market withdrawal. I urge Samsung customer service to take constructive steps to resolve this matter.
I consider it my duty to thank the representatives of the Samsung brand, which stands behind its product and fulfills its responsibilities with professionalism befitting a global and corporate company. While the process is ongoing, the necessary actions have been taken. We are following up on the matter with customer service and the relevant authorities.
