Samsung Neo QLED TV Screen Failure – Request Free Repair or Replacement
I purchased a Samsung 65” Neo QLED 8K QN700C television from www.samsung.com.tr approximately 2.5 years ago. During the installation, I specifically asked the technicians about the possibility of an extra warranty and they clearly told me that there was no such option for this TV. Our standard warranty expired in February and in June the TV suddenly stopped working and became unusable. I called the technical service again and they told me that there is a problem with the TV screen and that it must be replaced at a cost of 85,000 TL. However, the same model TV is sold on the internet for around 100,000 TL, which makes this repair fee almost the price of a new device. I trusted Samsung when I bought this product, but having such an expensive TV become unusable after about two and a half years makes me feel like the product is of very poor durability. When I contacted customer service, they told me that in fact there was an extra warranty option, and they did not take any responsibility for the wrong information given by their own technicians at the time of installation. According to what they said, it was my fault for not calling and confirming by phone, and they ignored the misleading information I received from the official service team in my home. Around ten days ago, I spoke with a customer representative named Gökçen, who told me that she would get back to me with a solution within three days. She never called. I then tried to reach her three more times but it was impossible to contact her again. At the moment, my TV has not been working for about a month and I cannot reach anyone at Samsung who will take real responsibility for this situation. I request that my television be repaired free of charge or that a reasonable solution be provided, such as screen replacement with a serious discount or device replacement, taking into account the high price I paid and the short lifespan of the product. A television at this price level should not become unusable in such a short time, and I feel deceived and victimized by Samsung because of the wrong information provided by their own technicians and the lack of support from customer service.
