My Samsung A54 5G Shows a Shadow Rectangle When Rotating Screen on YouTube and Netflix
I am experiencing a frustrating issue with my Samsung A54 5G. When I rotate the screen while using apps like YouTube.com and Netflix, a shadowy rectangle appears on the display. It looks very bad and is extremely distracting while trying to watch videos.
At first, I thought the problem was limited to Netflix, but after testing other apps, I realized it happens across multiple platforms. This confirms that the issue is with the phone itself and not with individual apps.
This flaw is ruining the viewing experience on a device that should handle media playback perfectly. I request urgent support from Samsung to resolve this issue. Whether it requires a software update or hardware inspection, I expect a proper fix immediately. I paid for a quality experience, and this is far below expectations.
Progress
There is a gray shadow at the top right when my Samsung phone is in horizontal position while watching Netflix. I thought it was only while watching a movie, but it appears whenever the screen is in horizontal mode. Someone wrote here that a solution was found without going to the service. I need support on this issue. I don’t have a backup phone. The phone would stay at the service for a long time, so I don’t want to deal with it there. Apparently, there are many people like me... I have attached a picture. I urgently want remote assistance for my phone.
