On October 27, 2025, I purchased a pair of Salomon XT-4 OG shoes directly from Salomon.com.tr. After only about six months of normal use, the front of the shoe began to separate. For a shoe in this price range and performance category, I find it extremely disappointing that it developed such a significant defect in such a short period of time.

I sent the shoes back to Salomon twice for inspection. However, both times I received a negative response within a very short period. The company concluded that the damage was caused by use and declined to accept responsibility. The speed of the inspection process made it feel rushed and superficial, and I have little confidence that my shoes were thoroughly evaluated. I do not believe a premium shoe should begin coming apart after only six months of normal use.

The main reason I am sharing this complaint is to help prevent other customers from experiencing the same problem. I believe Salomon should take a closer look at the quality of the XT-4 OG model, as well as similar products, and carefully review its warranty inspection process. I hope the company recognizes the seriousness of this issue, improves both its product quality and customer service, and provides consumers with a fair and transparent evaluation when defects like this occur.
