Possible Plastic Pieces Found in Ruffles Original Chips

About one week ago, I purchased a Ruffles Original potato chips package from a BİM store in Derince, Kocaeli. While examining the chips, I noticed pieces attached to the potato chips that appeared to be plastic. Based on their appearance and texture, I suspected that these pieces were not potato roots but plastic fragments, so I took the situation seriously and reported it to the company’s customer complaint line along with photos.

The company later responded that, according to their review, the pieces were potato roots. However, as someone who personally handled the product and closely examined the pieces, I still have strong doubts and believe they may actually be plastic. For this reason, I do not find the explanation convincing or sufficient.

The possibility that my health could have been put at risk, combined with the fact that the situation was dismissed so quickly as “potato root,” has made me quite uncomfortable.

Therefore, I expect the company to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation, provide a sincere apology that shows they value their customers, and offer a more transparent explanation about the issue and the investigation process.
