I Found Glass In Ruffles Baked Cheddar Chips

I purchased a 0.8 oz single pack of Ruffles Baked Cheddar and Sour Cream chips at my jobsite in Ontario, California, and was very alarmed to find what appeared to be a small piece of glass or hard plastic inside the bag. I nearly ate it and may have swallowed some small fragments before I noticed it, although I did not suffer any obvious injury at the time. This situation made me very concerned about the safety and quality control of this product, especially since this could easily cause serious harm to someone who does not notice it in time. I have not yet contacted the seller or the manufacturer directly about this incident, and I am sharing this experience so that it can be investigated and prevented from happening again. I kindly request that this foreign object issue be taken seriously, that the relevant batch of this product be checked, and that I be informed about the outcome of any investigation and what steps will be taken to ensure consumer safety.
