Roborock Saros 10 Vacuum Making Burning Smell and Running Constantly
Three months ago, I purchased the Roborock Saros 10 vacuum, and it suddenly started making this noise out of nowhere. It keeps vacuuming continuously. The moment I attach the bottle, it immediately begins vacuuming, and after a while, a burning smell starts to come from the device. There is no issue with the vacuum itself — as long as it is charging, it keeps operating normally. I’ve never seen this lever open, so I’m not sure whether it actually does; most likely, it doesn’t. In addition, despite having sensors, it has developed deep scratches on its surface. These scratches are not really a problem, but the burning smell definitely is. If I hadn’t been holding it, it could have potentially caused a fire. Naturally, I believe this problem needs to be fixed urgently.
Hello Ms. Özge, Detailed examinations of the device you reported have been carefully carried out by our technical service department. As a result of the comprehensive checks performed, the following assessments have been made: Examination Result: No hardware fault was detected in the power system and motor control units of the device during testing. The brief operation of the motor when the device is plugged in may be due to a timing deviation in the software trigger or a temporary synchronization delay during power connection. Such situations can arise temporarily during electrical fluctuations or when the device is being restarted, but they do not affect the overall performance or safety of the device. Actions Taken: Your device has been restructured system‑wise. Internal software parameters have been re‑synchronised. It has successfully passed general performance and safety tests. As a result, your device is operating stably and there is no obstacle to safe use. Regards, RECCİ TECHNOLOGY INC.
