Valorant AFK Players Avoid Penalties by Using Fake Activity

As a long-time Valorant player, I want to bring this issue to Riot Games’ attention. I encounter the same problem in ranked matches almost every day, and I am exhausted from seeing my hard work wasted. Some of my teammates simply bind a single key to keep their characters appearing active in the game while effectively staying AFK and making no contribution to the match. Because they never completely disconnect from the game, the system does not detect their behavior and no penalty is applied. As a result, I unfairly lose matches and my rank drops.

This problem has been continuing for at least a year, and I believe hundreds of thousands of players are affected by similar behavior. I have submitted several support tickets about this issue, but I have not received any concrete solution and the problem continues exactly as before. The system should not only detect players who completely disconnect from a match, but also identify and penalize players who artificially appear to be active while they are actually not playing.

I have had enough of this situation. I want Riot Games to protect players who put genuine effort into ranked matches, improve the system to prevent this type of abuse, and take this issue seriously.
