Revolution Sunray Glow SPF 50+ Caused Severe Skin Irritation
1

A few months ago, I purchased Revolution Sunray Glow SPF 50+ sunscreen from a Watsons store and used it regularly for approximately one month. After using the product for a period of time, I began experiencing serious problems with my skin.

The product damaged my skin barrier, and throughout the time I used it, my skin felt as though it was literally burning. My entire face became extremely red, and I experienced significant sensitivity and a burning sensation. After I stopped using the product, these effects gradually began to improve, which makes me believe that the product was responsible for the reaction I experienced.

I did not separately contact either Revolution or Watsons customer service about this issue. I am submitting this complaint primarily to inform and warn both the brand and other consumers about my experience. I expect the effects of the product’s ingredients on sensitive skin to be communicated more clearly and consumers to be given appropriate warnings about potential skin reactions.

I request that my negative experience be taken seriously and that the necessary information and warnings be provided to help prevent other consumers with similarly sensitive skin from experiencing the same problem.
