MediaMarkt Returns Broken Revlon Hair Styler Unfixed and Ignores Service Updates
On May 10, 2025, I purchased a Revlon hair dryer and styling brush from MediaMarkt. After using the device without issue for a while, it completely stopped working.
I first sent the device in for service on June 7. It was returned to me with claims that it had been repaired, but when I tested it, it didn't work at all—meaning the exact same issue persisted. Consequently, I sent the device to service a second time. On July 18, I received a text message confirming that a service request had been created with the authorized repair center, but I have received zero updates regarding the status of my product ever since.
My product is still at the service center and remains completely non-functional. To make matters worse, I suffered further hardship because it was previously sent back to me labeled as "repaired" without any actual work being done. Due to these excessive delays and the complete lack of communication, I no longer want a repair; I demand a full refund or a brand-new replacement unit.
I request that this entire process be reviewed and that my demand for a refund or replacement be finalized as soon as possible.
