ResumeCoach Refuses $1.95 Refund Despite 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

51

I used resumecoach.com from Armenia to build a CV because they presented their service as free and also highlighted a 14‑day money‑back guarantee. Trusting these claims, I signed up on March 20, 2026, and was charged $1.95 for a trial period. After realizing that the service was not truly free and that the CV I was able to generate was of very poor quality and remained unfinished, I decided to use the advertised 14‑day money‑back guarantee. I contacted customer support and requested a refund of the $1.95 based on the promise shown on their website. Customer support refused to refund me and only canceled my subscription, leaving me with a low‑quality, incomplete CV and a broken money‑back promise. I feel misled by the way the service is advertised as free and backed by a 14‑day refund, while in practice, this was not honored. With this complaint, I want to share my experience so that others are aware of these practices and so that the company is encouraged to clearly present its pricing and to respect the guarantees it advertises.
