Renault Sold Me a New! Megane With White Stains That Don’t Come Off After Washing
On 02.09.2024 (about 15 days ago), I purchased a brand-new Cosmo Blue Renault Megane from the dealership. When I first touched the car's paint, it felt rough, almost like wood, and didn’t seem clean. There were white spots on the car. When I informed the dealership, they took the car to the service department, performed some procedures, and returned it to me. However, today, when I washed my car for the first time, white spots (resembling water stains) appeared all over the car, and these stains did not come off. These spots are present all over the vehicle. When I took the car to the dealership's service center, they were also surprised. My car has only just reached 500 kilometers. I bought it brand new. Despite other brand options, I chose Renault because it’s locally produced, but now my car has these persistent white spots. I reserve all my legal rights to pursue this issue due to the defective product, and this letter serves as a notice before legal action. I now realize that I should have thought twice before buying a Renault Megane. This is the first time I trusted Renault in my life, and I was mistaken.
