Following an accident covered under my comprehensive insurance policy with Ray Insurance for my 2022 Toyota Yaris, my vehicle was declared a total loss. Although a total payment of approximately $43,750 is required, only $21,875 was paid on Wednesday, March 11 by the salvage company, and the remaining balance has still not been paid by Ray Sigorta, even though I have submitted all required documents in full. My policy number is 790415750, and my claim file number is 10202601812.
Despite providing all necessary documentation for the remaining payment, no payment has been made for approximately 10 days, and the process is being unnecessarily delayed. I need to make a payment for a new vehicle on Wednesday, March 18, but due to the incomplete payment from Ray Insurance, I am at risk of not being able to purchase this vehicle.
During this time, I contacted Ray Insurance customer service three times. Each time, I received an SMS stating that an expedited request had been created for my file, I was told that my documents were complete, and I was assured that payment would be made by Monday. However, during my most recent call, I was informed that while my documents are complete, no exact date could be given for when the payment would be made.
I do not accept that the payment has still not been made despite my documents being complete and a previously promised payment date. I request that Ray Insurance transfer the remaining balance to my account without any further delay and provide me with a clear written explanation regarding this delay.
