If PostNL tracking hasn’t updated for several days and your parcel is late, try these steps to locate it:
Check the latest tracking scan;
• Open the PostNL Track & Trace page
• Note the last location and date of the scan
• Sometimes parcels remain at a sorting center for several days before the next update
• Screenshot the tracking page for reference
Verify the estimated delivery date;
• Some parcels can take longer due to customs or transfer delays
• Tracking may not update until the parcel reaches the next processing facility
Check nearby delivery points;
• Sometimes parcels are redirected to a PostNL pickup point or parcel locker
• Check the tracking page for messages like:
– “Ready for pickup”
– “Delivered to service point”
Contact the sender first;
• In many cases, only the sender can start an official investigation with PostNL
• Provide them with the tracking number and delay details
Contact PostNL customer service;
• Use the PostNL support page or live chat
• Provide:
– Tracking number
– Last tracking update date
– Delivery address
Ask for a parcel investigation;
• If the tracking hasn’t updated for several days, PostNL may open a missing parcel investigation to locate it.
