2024 Porsche Macan Turbo Stuck in Service for 91 Days Over Axle Steering Error
On March 13, 2026, I dropped off my 2024 Porsche Macan Turbo with 30,000 km at the Porsche Doğuş Maslak authorized service center due to a rear axle steering error and an electronic warning light, and the vehicle has been at the service center ever since. For the initial fault, the vehicle remained in service for 69 days. Just 18 days after pickup, it was towed back to the service center due to the same or a reportedly related fault. As of today, this second service period has reached 22 days, bringing the total time in service to 91 days.
Throughout this entire period, a clear and final technical diagnosis and a permanent resolution plan have not been communicated to me explicitly or satisfactorily, either in writing or verbally. During this process, registered under work order number 12114 dated March 14, 2026, and customer request form number 26157 dated June 10, 2026, I was only informed verbally that my request for a vehicle replacement was denied; however, neither the technical nor the legal justifications for this refusal were shared with me.
My expectation from a premium brand like Porsche is not only to be provided with a quality vehicle but also to experience a transparent, solution-oriented approach that prioritizes customer satisfaction when an issue arises. Despite this, my biggest disappointment during this ordeal—in addition to the vehicle remaining in service for extended periods—has been the severe lack of communication and lingering uncertainty.
Due to the constantly recurring and still unresolved fault in my vehicle, and taking into account both my safety concerns and the brand's image, I demand a replacement with an equivalent vehicle of the same segment and specifications. Furthermore, I request a detailed technical explanation of the fault and a written report of all the procedures performed on my vehicle to date.
