My 2026 BYD Seal U DM-i Has Been Stuck In Service For 52 Days

I own a 2026 BYD Seal U DM-i with plate number 34 PGJ 1**. After an accident on 11.05.2026, I delivered my vehicle, which had only 4,000 km on it, to the BYD Authorized Service Center in Sancaktepe, Istanbul. Since that date, my car has remained at the authorized service center for 52 days, and I still do not have any clear or confirmed delivery date. This situation is not due to a complex mechanical or battery problem, but to the way the service process has been managed. The required parts were not ordered in a timely manner, the initial damage inspection was incomplete, and additional damaged parts were identified only after the first shipment arrived, which led to further avoidable delays. Throughout this period, communication has been very weak, I have not been able to receive clear information about the status of the repair, and no reliable completion date has been given to me. When I personally visited the Sancaktepe service, I again could not obtain a definite delivery date and no replacement vehicle was offered. My complaint is about the unreasonably long repair period for a relatively new vehicle, the poor planning and follow-up within the authorized service, and the inadequate level of customer service I have experienced. I expect my vehicle to be delivered to me immediately and to receive a clear and detailed explanation for the excessive delay in the repair process. I also request reimbursement of my reasonable rental car costs for the period during which no courtesy vehicle was provided. As a gesture of goodwill for the significant inconvenience and loss of use I have suffered over this long period, I request that my first scheduled annual maintenance be provided free of charge. In addition, I expect BYD to thoroughly investigate this case, compensate me fairly for the inconvenience and additional costs I have incurred, and take the necessary measures so that other customers do not experience similar problems within the authorized service network. For contact regarding this complaint, I can be reached at +90 533 1** 56 51.
