Planet VPN Update Blocked My PC and Removed App Access Rights

After installing the latest update of Planet VPN, the app prompted me as usual with the Windows message: “Do you allow this app to make changes to your device?”. I accepted, thinking it was the normal setup step I had seen before.

But this time, after granting permission, my computer was practically locked down. I lost the ability to open, uninstall, or modify any applications on my own PC. If it weren’t for the fact that I already had a trusted antivirus installed, my system and personal data could have been completely taken over.

This shows how dangerous and intrusive this software has become. Instead of offering privacy and protection, Planet VPN acts like a malicious program, stripping users of control over their own devices.

I demand a full explanation from Planet VPN about why this update behaved like malware, and I expect immediate measures to restore user trust, ensure system safety, and prevent this from happening again.
