PicMagic Unauthorized Charges: Cancel Subscription and Refund
I have been experiencing repeated unwanted charges on my credit card related to the PicMagic / CTOOLAI photo editor service, which I do not recognize as an active subscription and which I have not authorized. Every month, around the 12th, a charge of US$ 29.94 appears on my credit card under the description “CTOOLAI*N+18888688954”, which I understand is linked to pigmagic.co / PicMagic. Despite cancelling my previous credit card due to these charges, the same company has started charging my new card again, which makes me think that they have stored or transferred my payment details without my consent. The first charge that I clearly identified as unwanted appeared on 15 October 2025, but there have been other unauthorized charges since September 2025. Up to now, I estimate that around US$ 300 have been charged under CTOOLAI, plus approximately another US$ 600 in other related or similar unwanted charges. I have not yet contacted PicMagic / CTOOLAI support directly, but after detecting this pattern and seeing that it continues even with a new card, I am turning to you through this complaint. I request the full refund of all amounts charged to my credit cards since September 2025 that are related to CTOOLAI / PicMagic or pigmagic.co, and the immediate and definitive cancellation of any subscription, automatic renewal or stored payment method associated with my name or my cards so that no further charges are made.
