Airtel Payment Bank UPI Debited But Not Credited via PhonePe

I have a serious issue with a UPI transaction from my Airtel Payment Bank savings account that I made using the PhonePe application. My Airtel Payment Bank account is in the name of Anuj K***. On 01/01/2026, I sent 20,000 rupees via UPI through PhonePe from my Airtel Payment Bank savings account to another person’s bank account. The UPI reference/ID used in this transaction is PPQR01.BEZMMG@iob. Although the amount of 20,000 rupees has been debited from my Airtel Payment Bank savings account, it has still not been credited to the recipient’s bank account, and a long time has passed since the transaction. Because of this issue, my money is stuck, and the intended recipient has still not received the amount. I have not yet received any refund or confirmation about where this money is. I request Airtel Payment Bank to urgently investigate this UPI transaction and either immediately credit the amount of 20,000 rupees to the correct recipient’s account or refund the full 20,000 rupees back to my Airtel Payment Bank savings account without any further delay. I also request a clear written clarification about the status of this UPI transaction and the reason why the amount has not reached the recipient’s account, and I expect Airtel Payment Bank to ensure that such issues are not repeated in future.
