Philips 50PUS7805 Panel Failed Early - Repair Cost Is Unreasonably High

I want to share my experience with the Philips 50PUS7805/62 TV I purchased, because what I’ve gone through over the past few days has been incredibly stressful and unfair. Four days ago, the screen suddenly went completely black without any warning. I still have my invoice and warranty documents, so I immediately contacted Philips customer service, but I couldn’t get a solution-focused response. The authorized service team came to my home, inspected the TV, and told me the panel needed to be replaced for a cost of ₺10,000, which is a very high amount. Even though the warranty period has expired, it is not reasonable for a TV panel to fail this quickly, especially when the device has been used in ideal conditions. We don’t have small children or large pets, the TV has no scratches or damage, and it looks almost like it just came out of the box. It was used exactly as recommended, with no drops, impacts, or liquid exposure, and it was always plugged into a voltage-protected socket. According to Turkish Consumer Law (Law No. 6502) and the EU standards used in forming this legislation, a product should last for a reasonable period and offer durability similar to others in its segment. A premium TV is expected to have a lifespan of at least ten years, and a panel failure this early strongly suggests a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear. I am kindly requesting Philips or Teknosa to resolve this issue by offering a free repair or at least a significantly discounted panel replacement. I truly hope someone will review this case carefully and provide the support I need.
