Peugeot 2008 Engine Failure: Long Wait for Service

46

I have a Peugeot 2008. Lately, the engine had a malfunction. I called a service center nearby, and they set up an appointment for me 20 days from now. I was annoyed by the delay, so I decided to call the main office. They told me they would investigate the issue. They said sorry two days later and explained that their services were really busy. Picture this: you purchase a car and then it suddenly breaks down on you. But here's the kicker - when you try to schedule a service appointment, they tell you the earliest available slot is 20-25 days from now. What should I do if I don't have a car for such a long time? How am I going to get to work? What happens if there's a medical emergency that needs immediate attention? I'm really disappointed with Peugeot. I've had a Seat Leon for 4 years and I've never had any problems like this before. Once my car is repaired, I'm going to sell it.
