Pegasus Airlines Check-In Issue: Family Seating Discrepancies

Hello, on August 8, 2024, I am flying to Cyprus with Pegasus Airlines. When I attempted to check in, each family member of my four-person family was assigned different seats. This means I am being asked to pay extra money on top of what I already paid for the flight tickets.
While I can understand this issue to some extent, I have a 10-year-old child and I requested that they be seated next to one of the family members, but I am still being asked to make an additional payment. 😬 I have never encountered such a situation in my life. My child will have to sit separately throughout the entire flight! I am truly at a loss for words.
