Missed Flight PC2080 Despite Arriving 20 Minutes Early – Misleading Pegasus App Alerts
On September 10, 2024, I arrived at the gate for my Pegasus flight PC2080 at 05:35, but the gate was already closed, and no staff were present. When I asked nearby Pegasus personnel, they simply told me they couldn’t do anything, even though there were still 20 minutes left until the flight. I approached at least three to four Pegasus staff members, but none of them bothered to check with operations, and I was dismissed without any assistance. Despite the "last call," I rushed to the gate, and there was still time to board as the pilot decided when boarding ends. Communication could have been established. Additionally, the Pegasus mobile app notifications are extremely misleading; it stated that boarding had started, but the counter was already closed. The app's notifications are unreliable and confusing.
