Damage to Luggage on Pegasus Flight - Seeking Replacement, Not Repair
After our Pegasus flight from Antalya to Istanbul, we discovered that our suitcase was damaged during baggage claim. The side seams were split, the internal frame was bent, and the fabric on the back was scuffed. We reported the issue, but were asked to have the suitcase repaired and submit the receipt.
We purchased this suitcase in April 2024 for 55 pounds from abroad, and we don't want to use it in a repaired condition. We don't believe it will be as good as the original, and we question why we should spend our time handling the repair. We expect Pegasus to take responsibility and resolve our luggage issue appropriately.
