Pdfe.com Auto-Renewal Scam After One-Week PDF Trial
I made a payment of approximately $1 USD on pdfe.com to use the PDF editing service for one week only. Even though I did not give any clear, informed, or explicit consent for an annual or high-priced membership, I later noticed that an annual subscription fee of $56 USD was automatically charged to my Enpara card on December 30, 2025.
As soon as I became aware of this charge, I immediately canceled my membership the same day through the system and did not use the service at all under this subscription. Despite this, no refund has been issued to me.
Starting a subscription without the consumer’s explicit consent, charging a high annual fee after a short-term or trial service without clearly informing the user, and failing to provide clear and understandable information in distance sales all violate consumer protection laws.
I am demanding a full refund of the $56 USD, which was charged for a service I did not want and did not use, without any deductions and as soon as possible. Otherwise, I have already initiated a chargeback process through my bank and clearly state that I will exercise all of my legal rights if necessary.
I expect this issue to be resolved promptly, in good faith, and in a way that fully addresses my grievance.
