I Face Unauthorized Weekly Charges From Shortmax Innovations on PayPal Card

19

I am writing to report repeated weekly charges from Shortmax Innovations on my PayPal Cashback Mastercard that I have been unable to cancel. I initially subscribed for a one-week trial, but after that period ended, I could not find any option to stop the payments. On March 15, I was first charged $12.79, and since then the amount has increased to $19.99 per week. Each transaction appears on my card statement under the description “SHORTMAX INNOVATIONS.”

When I check both the app profile and my Google Play Store subscriptions, there is no active subscription listed, so I have no visible way to cancel the service. Despite this, the weekly charges of $19.99 continue to be deducted from my card without any way for me to manage or terminate the subscription.

I have not been able to contact Shortmax Innovations or PayPal effectively because I cannot even locate the exact product or subscription to reference it properly. This makes it extremely difficult to resolve the issue.

I request that this ongoing subscription be identified and cancelled immediately, and that all unauthorized weekly charges after my initial one-week subscription be fully refunded to my card. I also ask for a clear explanation of how my payment details were stored and how customers can properly manage and cancel such subscriptions in the future to prevent this issue from happening again.
