Omio Refused to Provide an Invoice for My Lufthansa Flight Purchase
On March 24, 2026, while I was abroad in Bilbao, Spain, I purchased Lufthansa flight tickets through Omio’s international website for a total amount of €357.29 (which appeared on my credit card statement as approximately $564). I completed the entire payment directly through Omio, and the tickets were also issued through Omio’s platform.
After the purchase, I requested an invoice or official receipt for this payment so I could submit it to my accounting department for expense reporting purposes. However, Omio informed me that they could only provide an invoice for their intermediary service fee and that I would need to obtain the actual flight invoice from Lufthansa, or even directly from the airport. Since the full payment was made to Omio and the tickets were purchased entirely through Omio, this distinction creates serious practical and accounting-related complications for me.
I request that Omio urgently issue and send me an official invoice or a detailed payment receipt suitable for accounting purposes that covers the full amount paid by credit card for this transaction related to reservation number 10160249442 and PNR code zukov9.
