Oddschecker Charges Users While Delivering a Worse Experience
Though simplistic, Oddschecker used to be a somewhat useful tool for evaluating bookmaker odds; it basically provided a stage for bookies to highlight their pricing for a charge. Though not revolutionary, at least its free and functional enough nature justified its existence. Now, they have decided to tax consumers while still making money from the bookmakers, therefore undermining the platform rather than enhancing it. Ads are overpowering, the UI is awkward, and the value it formerly possessed has totally diminished. It seems like a frantic cash grab, and whomever approved this obviously misjudged the off-putting effect. When the platform eventually fails, they will probably go on to profit off and ruin the next decent service.
