Obilet Bus Departure Time Changed Without Notice and Seat Changed

On 29 September 2026, I purchased a bus ticket via Obilet for the Kamil Koç service from Kırıkkale to İzmir, with reservation number 3397681167. On the day of the journey, I boarded the bus at the departure time written on my ticket. No one informed me of any change before the trip via SMS, in‑app notification or phone call. After departure, I was told that I would be transferred to another vehicle in Ankara. I had to go to Ankara under these circumstances. When we arrived in Ankara, they took me to the Kamil Koç office and there I was told that my departure time had been changed to 13:30. However, I had never received any message or notification about this change, so my departure time was effectively changed without my knowledge or consent. Due to a health condition, I had specifically chosen seat number 1 when buying my ticket. Despite this clearly expressed preference, I was forced to sit in a different seat number on the new vehicle and no understanding was shown regarding my health situation. Both the change of departure time without informing me and the change of my seat despite my health condition caused significant grievance. I reported this situation to Obilet, but they told me they could not do anything other than trying to ensure that such an incident would not happen again, and they did not offer any concrete solution to compensate for my loss. I also called Kamil Koç, yet I again could not obtain any outcome that would remedy my grievance. Because both Obilet and Kamil Koç failed to inform me as a passenger, changed my departure time without notice and disregarded my seat preference despite my health condition, I request that my grievance be remedied and that my ticket price be refunded or compensated in an appropriate manner. I also explicitly state that I will submit an official complaint to the Ministry of Transport regarding this process.
