Nuxe Sun Skin Serum Prevents Dark Spots Should Be Taken Off The Market

I bought a Nuxe sun stick serum at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France on 2 August 2026. After using it for the first time on 5 September 2026, I experienced a severe allergic reaction that has seriously affected my health and daily life. I applied the product only to my neck. By that evening, I noticed a red rash which I initially thought might be sunburn. The next morning, my neck was bright red, extremely itchy, with small hives and noticeable swelling. The rash then spread to my arms, ankles and chest, accompanied by intense burning and itching. My chest has started to feel tight, similar to how I feel before an asthma attack, and my physician has advised that I may need to go to the ER if this worsens. Because of this reaction, I had to go to an urgent dermatology appointment at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. I have been prescribed prednisone, antihistamines and two strong topical creams. So far I have already spent about 80 USD just on medications, and I have not yet received the dermatologist’s bill. I am still under medical treatment and monitoring, and the itching and discomfort are severe enough to affect my sleep and overall wellbeing. I immediately stopped using the product and I still have the stick and its packaging. Given the seriousness of this reaction, I am requesting that Nuxe urgently investigate this specific product, including its batch, and take appropriate safety measures, including recall if necessary, so that other consumers do not experience the same harm. I also request a full refund for this product, coverage or compensation for my medical costs and related expenses, and appropriate compensation for the pain, suffering and disruption I am currently experiencing. Additionally, I expect a formal written apology and clear information on how Nuxe will prevent similar incidents in the future. I am sharing this complaint so that my case is taken seriously, my health expenses and losses are compensated, and necessary steps are taken to ensure this product is made safe or removed from the market if needed.
