Nokian Snowproof 2 Tire Quality Issue as Cracks Appeared and Warranty Was Denied




I’m filing a complaint regarding my Nokian Snowproof 2 winter tire, which has developed cracks and splits, as shown in the attached photos and invoice. Despite the clear evidence, I was told that the issue was “user-related.”
I find this explanation completely unreasonable — how could a user possibly cause such deep cracks and tears in a tire under normal driving conditions? The Kormetal company, which distributes Nokian products, has refused to take responsibility and is not standing behind the Nokian Snowproof 2 model.
I am extremely disappointed and intend to formally report this issue to the relevant consumer protection authorities. Nokian and its distributor should take responsibility for the product and replace the defective tire under warranty.
