Nissa Rent A Car Göreme Won't Return $110 Deposit After Two Months
I have rented a car from Nissa Rent A Car in Göreme three times previously, finding myself in situations where I had no other option, and each time I paid a $110 deposit. For the rental dated May 11, 2026, I was told that the deposit would be returned to my account within one month. Nearly two months have now passed and I have still not received any refund, and I have had serious difficulty reaching anyone at the company to address this.
The company later stated that this was a pre-authorization hold, that the block would be lifted after 21 business days due to bank procedures, and that the refund date for a separate charge from April 28, 2026 appeared as May 25, 2026 — adding that if I shared my IBAN, they would forward it to their accounting department. Despite all of this, the process keeps dragging on, my losses keep growing, and I deeply regret the situation given that I still have not gotten my money back.
I am requesting that the $110 deposit — along with any other amounts owed to me — be transferred to my account immediately without further delay, and that I receive clear, written communication about the status of this process.
