Nike Shoe Sole Opened After Only 4 Days and Defect Claim Rejected
On 1 September 2026, I purchased a Nike women’s sports shoe, model CD6404-100, with invoice number 125195 from the Barçın Spor store in Konak, İzmir for my daughter. The shoe was only used for 4 days during the first week of school and even then only for half days. At the end of the 4th day, we noticed that the sole of the shoe had opened. Considering this very short period of use, it was clear that if it had been worn for a few more weeks the shoe would have completely fallen apart. Despite this, when I went to the store immediately, explained the situation and requested an exchange, I was told that I had no such right. The product was taken from me to be sent for inspection and at that point I was also told that the result would most likely be in my favor. I handed the shoe over for inspection on Saturday, 19 September, and on 30 September I was informed that the result was negative and a written report was sent to me. I do not accept that a Nike shoe, whose sole opened after only 4 days of use by a careful child, is rejected on the grounds of “user error”. Although I explained the situation to the store in detail, they did not show any helpful attitude in producing a solution and I had difficulty finding anyone who would take responsibility. In the end, an expensive shoe that I paid a significant amount of money for is left in my hands and all I am told is “Come and collect the product”. Given that a Nike shoe has reached this condition in such a short time, I request that the product be evaluated within the scope of defective goods, that the inspection decision be reconsidered and that the shoe be either replaced with a new one or that a full refund of the purchase price be made.
6 Eylül 2026'da Nike kadın spor ayakkabısı aldım, dört gün içinde tabanı açıldı. Mağaza hiçbir şekilde yardımcı olmadı ve ücret iadesi talep ediyorum.
