Nebula Horoscope Charged Me After I Canceled the Free Trial

We downloaded the Nebula Horoscope & Astrology app from Google Play onto my daughter’s Android phone. The app offered a one-week free trial, but it required entering credit card information right from the start. Even though we canceled the subscription before the free period ended, we later noticed on our credit card statement that $40 had been charged on September 5, 2025, without our knowledge or approval.

After seeing this charge, we contacted our bank, Akbank, and reported that the transaction was made without our knowledge or consent. We filed a request for cancellation and a refund. In addition, we submitted a written complaint to Nebula Horoscope & Astrology/Google Play, but our request was rejected and no solution was offered.

Despite canceling the subscription within the trial period, we find it completely unfair that this amount was still charged to our card. I request that the unauthorized $40 fee be fully refunded to our credit card as soon as possible.
