NARS Foundation Pump Breaks Off Inside Cap on First Use

I purchased a NARS foundation from a Sephora store. However, when I tried to open it for the first time, the pump got stuck inside the cap and won't close. The product will dry out over time if left like this.

I am requesting a resolution or a full refund from NARS regarding this issue. I expect an urgent response.
