Mytrip Fails to Provide Clear Refund After Ticket Cancellation
I purchased flight tickets through Mytrip.com for a total of $233, with departure on March 1, 2026 via AJet and return on March 3, 2026 via Pegasus. Due to certain circumstances, I had to cancel my tickets and requested a refund.
Despite contacting Mytrip.com multiple times through their call center and written communication, I was never given clear information. I was not even provided with a straightforward statement such as “your total refund amount is X.” Phone wait times were very long, calls were often disconnected, and I was unable to establish effective communication. In the end, for a ticket worth about $231, they vaguely mentioned a refund of around $31, but nothing was clearly confirmed and no resolution was reached.
Since I could not make progress through Mytrip.com, I canceled my return ticket directly via the Pegasus app, and only $60 was refunded by Pegasus. For my AJet ticket, I have not received any refund from either the airline or Mytrip.com. Additionally, in an email I received from Mytrip.com, they used an unprofessional tone, stating that I had not involved them in the process and had contacted the airline directly.
As a result, I request a refund from Mytrip.com for the remaining amount, excluding the $60 already refunded by Pegasus, with any deductions clearly explained. I also ask for a clear, written breakdown of why the remaining portion of my payment has not been refunded.
