About a month ago, I purchased a one-month subscription from Mspy in order to monitor my sibling’s phone. After installing the application on a computer, we were unable to obtain any meaningful or reliable results—neither from the app itself nor from the website interface. The interface was also extremely complex and not user-friendly. For this reason, I canceled my subscription myself through the website approximately 3.5 weeks ago. Even though I was dissatisfied at the time, I did not request a refund.
Despite this, I noticed today that a charge of approximately $15 (457.21 TL) was made to my credit card during the night. Even though I had not saved my card details in the system and had disabled automatic payments, I realized that my card information was still retained and used to charge me for a service I had already canceled and was not using. The transaction statement also does not include any clear description.
To understand the situation, I contacted live support and sent an email. Although I explained that I had canceled my subscription about a month ago, they claimed that this charge was for a “live support fee,” a charge that I was never informed about nor explicitly approved. At no point was I shown a clear notice or consent screen regarding such a fee.
I request the immediate full refund of the 457.21 TL charged to my credit card for this unauthorized and unused service, written confirmation that my card information has been permanently deleted from their system, and the complete closure of my account/subscription. I also request assurance that no further charges will be made to my card without my consent.
