I Experience Billing Issue With Moovit Subscription
I downloaded the Moovit app and started a membership through the in-app purchase screen. It clearly stated that a 7-day free trial was included, and I relied on this information when starting the subscription. On the same day, I deleted both the app and my account and did not continue using the service in any way.
Despite this, I later learned that on March 6, 2026, a charge related to this subscription was added to my Vodafone bill. Normally, my bill is around $13, but this month it increased to about $16. When I contacted Vodafone customer service, I was informed that the difference of approximately $2–3 was due to the Moovit subscription.
I find it unfair and misleading to be charged despite being promised a 7-day free trial and deleting the app on the same day. I believe the terms of the free trial in the Moovit app are not clearly explained and may mislead users.
I request that the charge reflected on my mobile bill be canceled and refunded. I also ask that Moovit revise its in-app purchase and free trial terms to ensure they are clear and not misleading for users.
