Minecraft Site Charges Payment but Fails to Activate Purchased Game Account

I purchased Minecraft Standard Edition today through the official minecraft.com website for approximately $35. However, when I try to install and play the game, it redirects me to an entirely different website called "crowdid," and I am completely unable to open the game I paid for.
Even though my payment went through, I am left unable to access the product. I demand that my purchased Minecraft account/game be properly activated and that the necessary steps be taken so I can play the game without issues.
