I Face MobiMatter eSIM Activation Failure In Baku And Invalid QR Code Errors

I purchased an eSIM package through MobiMatter to use in Baku, Azerbaijan. I completed the purchase approximately 8 hours before my arrival, but when I reached Baku, the eSIM never activated. While trying to install it on my phone, I received an “invalid QR code” error. I then requested a new QR code, but that code did not work either, and I was still unable to connect. Because of this, I had to use mobile data from my regular phone line, resulting in additional charges.

I paid approximately $8 for the original package and an additional $3 for the replacement QR code. Since I used different cards for the transactions, one payment was originally charged in local currency while the other was charged directly in USD. However, I was unable to use either service at all.

I contacted MobiMatter in writing on April 18 regarding this issue, but I have still not received any response. My transaction number is MM-19180206.

I request a full refund of the approximately $8 I paid for the original eSIM package as well as the additional $3 QR code charge. Since neither service worked and I received no benefit from the purchase, I expect the full amount to be refunded without any deductions.
