Premium Miele HX2 Failure – Unacceptable Issue & Support
I purchased a Miele HX2 cordless vacuum cleaner from Armada Miele Ankara in October 2023 and have been using it carefully in full compliance with the instructions. However, I have been experiencing a serious malfunction that initially occurred intermittently and has become constant over the past few months. From the early period of use, the device would occasionally not respond when I pressed the trigger button and would only work after several attempts or after plugging it into the charger and removing it again. In recent months, this problem has worsened and now occurs almost every time I try to use the device. Although the battery is fully charged, the vacuum often does not start when I press the trigger and only starts working after being connected to and disconnected from the charger. This clearly indicates a defect related to the trigger mechanism or the electronic components of the device. I sometimes carry the vacuum with me to use outside my home. Since I do not have access to a charger in such situations, I end up carrying the device without being able to use it, which creates a significant inconvenience. Considering that the current market price of the product is approximately 50,000 TL, it is unacceptable for a device in this price range to develop such an issue in such a short time. One of the main reasons I chose Miele was its strong reputation for durability and high quality. I purchased this product with complete confidence and even recommended it to others, which led at least three people in my circle to purchase the same model. Experiencing such a problem in a relatively short period has seriously undermined my trust in the brand. When I contacted Armada Miele Ankara and Miele customer service about this issue, I was directed to the service and was told that I would have to pay. I find it unfair and unacceptable to be asked to pay for a malfunction that clearly stems from the product despite my careful use within a reasonable usage period. I request that my Miele HX2 cordless vacuum cleaner be replaced with a new, fault‑free device without any cost to me, and that this process be handled swiftly so that my loss of trust and victimization can be remedied.
