Metapay Allows Repeated Unauthorized Charges From Game App
On September 24, 2025, at 10:54 PM, while playing the Okey Ekstra game via Facebook, an unauthorized charge of approximately $1 USD was made from my Ziraat Bank Metapay account without my knowledge or consent. The transaction details are as follows: Card No: 6500830301748440, Merchant: Metapay Virtual Good, Settlement Number: 1140229. There is no membership, subscription, or automatic payment authorization associated with my account.
Similarly, these types of unauthorized charges have happened to me before and occur 3–5 times per month. I have never authorized any membership or automatic payment in Okey Ekstra. In addition, when I try to add funds, the amount is deducted from my account but does not appear in my game balance and effectively disappears. All of these transactions occur without my knowledge or approval.
Regarding this issue, I have not previously contacted customer service, as I did not receive any response when I reached out about a different transaction. For account security, I changed my password, but the problem continues.
I request that both Metapay and Okey Ekstra urgently investigate these unauthorized transactions, resolve my grievance, and refund the unauthorized amount charged to my account. My registered email address is e****@gmail.com**.
