I Want a Refund for an Unauthorized Mental Impulse Subscription Charge
After downloading and registering for the Mental Impulse brain training app once, I discovered that a $24 annual membership fee had been charged to my Akbank credit card on December 23, 2025, without my permission or approval. I do not believe it is acceptable to charge my card this amount without any notification, warning, or clear authorization screen.
The transaction appears as a “membership fee” on my credit card statement, and the subscription was listed as active in my app account. I canceled the membership through the app, but my account still states that it will remain active until October 16, 2026. When I try to log in again, the system says that the email address I previously registered with is not on file. As a result, I cannot properly access or manage my account and subscription.
I could not find a customer service phone number, support email address, or any other official communication channel for the Impulse app. I have been left in a difficult situation because I cannot contact the company and the payment was automatically charged to my credit card without my authorization.
I am requesting the immediate termination of my membership and a full refund of the $24 charged to my Akbank credit card.
