I signed up on a website called Melbet after seeing an advertisement claiming that new users receive a $44 trial bonus with no conditions. During the registration process and in the promotional visuals on the site, there was no indication that this bonus required a deposit, so I believed I would receive a direct, no-deposit trial bonus, exactly as advertised.
After completing my registration today, no trial bonus was credited to my account. I then contacted live support / customer service, where I was told that in order to use the bonus, I first had to deposit at least $11. In other words, the campaign promoted on the site as “$44 Bonus for New Members” turned out to be deposit-dependent, which was never clearly disclosed.
I registered on this site solely because of the promised no-conditions trial bonus. I have not made any deposits and do not intend to. I also have screenshots as evidence, which I will share along with this complaint. Due to this misleading and deceptive promotion, I request that my Melbet account and membership be permanently closed and that all my personal data be deleted from their systems.
My account is registered with a @gmail.com email address. I also request that this misleading bonus campaign be reviewed and discontinued to prevent other users from experiencing the same issue.
