I am writing to report a serious and disturbing issue with how my LinkedIn profile appears in Google search results and to request that it be corrected as soon as possible. When I search my name on Google, one of the image results shows a picture of an underage girl with whom I have no relationship, and this image is associated with my LinkedIn profile. When I click on the image in Google, it takes me directly to my own LinkedIn page at the profile address: www.linkedin.com/in/anthony-kubina-b80591285. I am extremely uncomfortable and concerned about being publicly associated with a minor in this way, especially a child who is not related to me. This situation has been ongoing for at least one year. I identified that the picture is connected in some way to another LinkedIn account of a person I know, whose daughter is underage. To avoid any association, I turned off connections to that person, and she also turned off any connections to me. Despite this, the picture of the minor still appears in Google image search as if it is linked to my name and my LinkedIn profile. I previously contacted Google about this issue approximately 6 to 12 months ago, but the problem has not been resolved. I do not have any paid or premium subscription with LinkedIn, but I expect my profile to be displayed correctly and safely, without linking my name to a child I am not related to. I request that LinkedIn urgently investigate and correct how my profile appears, including how it is indexed or associated in search. Specifically, I want the photo of this underage girl to be fully disassociated from my name and my LinkedIn profile in Google and on LinkedIn, and I want any linkage between my account and the LinkedIn account where this picture originates to be removed so that I am no longer associated with an unrelated minor in any search or display. I ask that this matter be treated as a priority due to its sensitive nature and the potential for serious misunderstanding and reputational harm, and I would appreciate written confirmation once the association has been removed and the issue fully resolved.
