LG Air Purifier Filter Issues
Last year (2022), we purchased an LG air purifier. Observing an increase in construction activity in our region, we realized that the concentration of pollutants, such as dust and car emissions, had significantly increased. As a result of our research, we chose a large air purifier with a dual filter from LG. Since we spend little time at home in the summer, we did not use the device much. However, when we started using it again in winter, we noticed an unpleasant odor and decided to replace the filter. Despite regularly cleaning the filter every three months, we encountered this problem. LG's website did not have puricare filters for sale. When we contacted customer support, we were given the number of an authorized service center. However, upon reaching out to the service, I received a misleading response: "LG does not produce such devices; they only deal with white goods and electronics." I submitted a request to LG customer support regarding my issue but received no response for two days. I cannot find filters for this air purifier from reliable sources online. Despite the user manual's recommendation to change the filter once a year, I cannot find a spare filter for my device from last year. I request information on this matter and ask where I can purchase these filters. Additionally, I believe that LG's authorized service personnel should be knowledgeable about a wide range of products and refrain from making unfounded comments. This situation raises doubts about LG's image and seriousness.
