I Regret Buying the LG CordZero Vacuum—Dust Lid Broke in Under a Year

I purchased the LG CordZero cordless vacuum less than a year ago, and its dust compartment lid already broke. I took it to the authorized service center in Tekirdağ, and they immediately blamed user error, quoting a ₺2000 repair fee. We’ve been forced to tape the lid with packing tape just to keep using it.
Yes, the vacuum fell once, but it was a minor drop. The lid cracked instantly—clearly due to its flimsy plastic construction and weak hinge design. The hinges feel toy-like, extremely thin and fragile for a product in this price range. A simple slip and you’re left with a broken vacuum. That shouldn’t happen with a supposed premium product.
Honestly, I regret switching brands. My previous Bosch vacuum never had issues like this, and their service was way more supportive. If you’re considering this product, be warned: don’t drop it, or you’ll pay heavily. LG should own up to their poor design and fix this at no cost. I request a free replacement lid or proper warranty support—this is not what I expected from LG.
